Thomas A. Estus Sr.

Thomas A. Estus Sr., 80 of Muhlenburg passed away on Sunday June 29, 2025, at the Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Dallas.

Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late David and Anna Mae Sullivan Estus. He was a graduate of West Side Central Catholic High School. He was one of 8 children. He was raised by his aunt and uncle Ethel and George Stolarick.

He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley E. Yekel Estus.

Surviving are his sons Thomas Jr and his wife Melody, Herbert, daughters Michelle Saxe, and Betty Williams, 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 12, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 190 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Wesley Poole officiating.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Charles L. Cease Funeral Home, 634 Reyburn Road, Shickshinny.
